Courtney is a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Madden in Hennepin County Family Court. As a law clerk, she works directly with judicial officers in issuing decisions that are in the best interests of families and children. The educational programs sponsored by AFCC-MN have deepened her understanding of the impact of those decisions on families. She appreciates the work AFCC-MN does to educate the family law community in order to better serve the community.

In addition to her work with AFCC-MN, she is a board member of the Family Law League and coaches the University of Minnesota Undergraduate mock trial team. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, running half-marathons with her mom, and hanging out with her dog Stella.
