Learn more about the revised Child Focused Parenting Time Guide at AFCC MN’s Lunch and Learn March 25 – (This is a repeat of our December 13 event) the content, process, guiding principles, and “what’s next” for the Guide. Attached is a draft copy of the document for your review. (Copies will NOT be provided at the Lunch & Learn.)
The original visitation guide was developed 1995-1999, revised and published in 2001. A lot changed between 2001 and 2018! The MN Supreme Court formed an ad hoc working group in spring 2017 to revise and produce an updated document, one that is child focused and speaks to children’s ages, stages of development, and best interests.
By fall 2018 the working group produced a draft document for public review and comment: Child Focused Parenting Time Guide.
