Film Viewing of Tommy: Interview With Filmmaker Darren Mort
Viewing of Tommy with interview of film maker
Co-Hosted by AFCC-MN & St. Thomas Family Law Society
April 22nd, 5:00-7:00pm
Join us for a special virtual screening of the award winning short film Tommy with Australian filmmaker, Darren Mort.
“TOMMY is the emotionally-charged story of a young boy and his imaginary friend caught in the middle of a nasty custody battle. He escapes his trauma by entering his dream-like world set inside a submarine, but as the feud between his parents reaches boiling point, both worlds collide.”
The messiness and heartbreak of divorce is a well-trod territory in film….rarely, however, is the child of divorce the primary focus. In this must-see short-length feature film, the lens is entirely on the experience of the child. Run time: 19 min
Based on the children’s book Tommy & Terry Tiger
