Join Saprina Matheny and Judge Sally Tarnowski presenting on the topic of psychological evaluations and services in Greater Minnesota.

1. Understanding the  relevance of mental health or chemical dependency issues for parenting capacity

2. Identifying services addressing a parent’s needs and capitalizing on areas of strength, once those have been determined

3. Accessing parenting capacity evaluation services in Greater Minnesota and/or in the face of financial constraints

Saprina Matheny, MSW, LICSW
Saprina earned her Master’s degree in social work from the College of St. Catherine and is a licensed clinical social worker.  She was previously the Clinical Program Manager for the Ambit Network of the University of Minnesota, and the Director of Child and Family Services at Human Development Center in Duluth. Saprina is now the Executive Director of Paradigm Therapy Services. Her areas of specialty include child and adolescent trauma.


Judge Sally Tarnowski, Sixth Judicial District

Judge Tarnowski serves in the Duluth Courthouse in St. Louis County. Appointed in 2007 by Governor Pawlenty, her current term expires in January 2021. Prior to that appointment she was in private practice with the law firm Johnson, Killen, and Seiler.
